Ubisoft wants to unite the fragmented VR market with cross-platform play

Newsbrief: Ubisoft intends to do its bit to unite the fragmented virtual reality market by bringing cross-platform play to its current crop of VR titles. 

The first game to get the cross-platform treatment is Eagle Flight, which as of today will allow players on PSVR, Oculus Rift, and HTC Vive to team up with or race against each other. 

The French developer-publisher’s other upcoming multiple VR experiences, Werewolves Within and Star Trek: Bridge Crew, will also support cross-platform play upon launch.
